Cunoașterea Științifică offers researchers an interdisciplinary academic framework for publishing and disseminating original works in the sciences, philosophy, the social sciences and humanities, as well as research situated at the intersection of these fields.
The journal combines peer review, open access, persistent identification through DOI, author-retained copyright, and the academic infrastructure required to increase the visibility and accessibility of published research.

Manuscripts that meet the journal’s initial editorial criteria undergo a double-anonymous peer-review process.
The review process is intended to assess the originality, relevance, methodological or argumentative rigor, quality of documentation, and academic contribution of the work.
The final publication decision rests with the Editorial Board and is independent of any financial considerations.

Articles are published under immediate open access, with no reader fees and no embargo period.
This means that published works can be freely accessed by researchers, students, professionals, and other interested readers without subscription fees or mandatory registration.

3. Authors Retain Copyright
Authors retain copyright in their published works.
Articles published under the journal’s current editorial policy are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), facilitating the lawful distribution and reuse of research provided that appropriate credit is given to the author and the original publication.

4. DOI for Every Accepted Academic Article
Every academic article accepted for publication receives a Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
A DOI provides the work with a persistent identifier and facilitates citation, identification, linking, and integration of metadata into scholarly infrastructures.

6. Interdisciplinary Publishing
The journal provides a publication venue for research in:

7. Publication in Romanian and English
The journal accepts manuscripts in Romanian and English.
For works published in Romanian, essential academic metadata are also provided in English — including the title, abstract, and keywords — in order to facilitate international discovery and use of the research.
8. Self-Archiving Without Embargo
Authors may deposit and distribute, in accordance with the journal’s policy:
- the preprint;
- the accepted manuscript;
- the official published version.
The published version may be deposited immediately after publication, without an embargo period, including in institutional or disciplinary repositories, personal websites, and academic platforms.

A EUR 10 publication fee is charged only for articles definitively accepted for publication and is requested only after completion of the evaluation process and the final acceptance decision.
